Ski Resorts to Get Married at in Park City

April 18, 2022

I have videographed weddings all over the world and Park City will always be my favorite place to shoot. It’s hard to get a bad shot when you are shooting in a place like Park City. Many of my couples opt to get married at ski resorts. Having shot at these resorts myself, I wanted to give a wedding videographer’s perspective.

The St. Regis Deer Valley Resort is one of the most luxurious ski lodge hotels in the world. The hotel has a beautiful setting with views of Park City, an indoor pool, and a heated outdoor pool with an adjacent day spa. This resort is known for their attention to detail, impeccable service, and five star amenities. Within the hotel you can find a 2 season tennis facility, fitness center, lounge and bar area, and great food at the Under the Tuscany Restaurant. Set against the majestic Wasatch Mountains. Their upscale resort is the perfect venue for your dream wedding to match your unique vision. They even have smaller venues that are ideal for intimate ceremonies, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and other wedding events.

The River Bottoms Ranch is in Park City, but far enough away to be considered out of town. This venue combines a perfect setting for any wedding ceremony or reception with great affordability in a smaller venue. New to River Bottoms Ranch is a stunning custom designed 2,200 square foot mortise & tenon timber pavilion. Built locally built utilizing old-world craftsmanship, it provides an unparalleled outdoor sheltered entertainment space. The stunning 360 degree views of the valley, river and mountains are my favorite to videograph.

Located in Deer Valley, the elegant yet rustic Silver Lake Lodge is surrounded by mountains. The architecture features exposed beams and stone walls, with rich wooden tables and doors to add to the feeling of rustic elegance. With a wonderful outdoor patio perfect for riverside ceremonies or private dining, or indoor areas for guests to mingle, this venue is hard to beat.

The Stein Ericksen Lodge, set amidst ten acres at the base of Deer Valley Ski Resort, is a premium venue in Park City. In addition to being a fully equipped event facility with picturesque views of Utah’s rocky cliffs, the property’s indoor-outdoor environment—including its 1,200 square-foot patio and grand fireplace—makes it a versatile option for ceremonies and receptions.

High West Distillery is a historic wedding venue located in Kamas, Utah located a few miles south of Park City. Weddings at High West Distillery may take advantage of the functioning whiskey distillery location. The property itself is about 25 minutes outside of Park City, Utah, set against the scenic hills of the lush countryside in Blue Sky Ranch. Here, couples are able to celebrate with up to 125 guests. High West Distillery boasts rustic architecture and gorgeous elements such as a stone-lined hearth and exposed wooden beams.

Hopefully these can help you and your fiancé decide where you want to get married in Park City!
