Marriage License
Marriage licenses in Summit County are by appointment only currently, as well as courthouse weddings. You do need a marriage license in advance of your wedding, so make sure to book here. You can get this up to 30 day before your wedding.
“All marriage licenses are valid for ceremonies performed anywhere in the State of Utah within 30 days of issuance. If, for any reason, the license is not used, please return it to the Clerk’s Office. Do not destroy it. Refunds or extensions cannot be given.”

If you and your partner have a day set and want to get married outdoors in Park City, apply for a permit sooner than later to ensure you have the spot you want!
Many of the wedding venues in Park City have breathtaking outdoor venues and views. If you are set on an outdoor wedding, that may be the easier route
Finding an officiant
Many times couples already have an officiant in mind. Usually a beloved family member, religious leader, or close family friend. Tip! Make sure your officiant is licensed to perform the ceremony as they will have to sign your wedding license. Do not forget this step!
