Use dialogue, music, and special clips from throughout the day to
create a story. Include moments that capture the emotions you
felt during that period. Add music that emphasizes those feelings
and include dialogue through voiceover if you’d like to add
commentary, or through natural ceremony moments like the “I
do’s.” This is always an exciting moment to deliver to the new
happy couple as a wedding videographer.
Send video thank-you notes as the wedding professional
Since you are a wedding videographer, show yourself using your
own medium. Make a short video telling the couple how happy
you are for them, a favorite memory of their wedding day, and
well wishes.
Have Automated Systems
I know this isn’t on the creative side of your work, but as a
wedding videographer, having easy systems for clients to contact
you really uplevels the customer experience. Have you client
questionnaire ready before you are contacted instead of throwing
in together last minute. Having these systems ready before hand
gives you less stress in the moment.
