This is Terra Ong!
We met at a wedding in 2018. It was a cold winter day, and we were both hired to shoot this wedding together. I tend to make friends with 90% of the photographers I get to work with, but it usually ends with us adding each other on instagram and never talking again. Well, after I shot this wedding I decided I was gonna make Terra my best friend. After months of instagram stalking and commenting on her dreamy photos, I shot her an DM and asked if she wanted to co-host a retreat for photographers and videographers with me. After leaving me on read for a few days, she said yes! After we hosted our first retreat, we agreed to team up in many ways. We have now created a whole education platform in which we host workshops and retreats in beautiful locations all over the west coast teaching other photographers and videographers about business. Over the years, she truly has become such a great business partner and friend. I have watched her shoot amazing wedding and create stunning work for both our shared clients and her own. We have travelled together for many destination weddings and elopements, and one of our clients left a review that said this at the end of it: “We highly recommend that you hire Jade as your videographer! Her and our photographer Terra Ong were the PREFECT duo and we highly suggest hiring both of them together!”
Now, enough of the gushy stuff. Terra is an amazing photographer. Her work is timeless, dreamy, clean, colored beautifully, and shot with so much intention. Her photography is perfect for printing as it has such high quality and the perfect amount of contrast and depth. Below are a few of my favorite photos I have (a.) witnessed her shoot and knew what it was like in person (b.) was so amazed by the final product.

[…] Ps. I actually live here! Like, for years. I know the area like the back of my hand. So please bare with me – I know there are so many locations and they can be overwhelming. Please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email for more information on a specific location! (Although I only share my deepest location secrets/GPS coordinates with my clients to keep the integrity of the land and my time!) Also, please note that many of these locations do require both a shooting permit and marriage permit to have an elopement in these locations. But don’t let this shy you away from it.
